You said you got back $. how much was actually withheld from your
earned income?

The Minimum payment on this plan is $ Anything over that seems
to be dependant on tax liability. So if you only had $39 withheld and
got it all back your payment would be the $300. If you actually had
any tax withheld that you didn't get back you will get more than $300.
according to my neighbor the CPA. How much more is not sure at this
time. He thinks it will be the entire tax liability if your actual
paid taxes were over $ and under $.

*you should be in the 10% tax category*

[ My accountant neighbor is now backing off and unsure if both regular
[ and low income will be he was going by a worksheet his
[ company provided and they sent out a notice last night saying they
are
[ not sure and are waiting on an answer from the IRS.

He thinks the SS / VA pay may only count for the minimum requirement
and not be added to earned income as he was advised earlier. Said he
would let me know for sure when he gets official word.

The IRS notice on their web site says they will post the formula for
calculating the rebate in the near future. That should clear up any
controversy.
