I applied in June of 2006. I am still waiting. I have been denied
twice and am now up for an ALJ hearing. I was told about the hearing
in May 2007 but have heard nothing since. From what I can tell and
have been told it usually takes 2 to 3 years. I know some people who
were at it for 6 years or more before they finally got their award
letter. It seem to vary greatly from person to person.
