The second report rather curiously says firstly that there was no evidence
of sexual assault and then at the end "They are checking possible links with
*other* sex crimes in the area where she disappeared."
Maybe just poor copywriting rather than an intent to jazz up the story.
As to the extradition, at least the guy will hopefully get quicker justice
over here than in an Indian court where proceedings can take 10 or more
years.
