Good for you Vi.
Actually you seem to be getting much more then many, on a monthly basis. Yet
You probably will also find that you make too much for some specific
programs designed to help the low income and low income disabled.
You can take advantage of the . program to help keep the food cost
down to a managble level. Google those letters and you should find
directions to a distribution point in your area.
Also local food pantrys sometimes have connections to the same program. One
way you can tell is that the products distributed are not already past thier
use by date.
Check with your local social services to see if you qualify for food stamps
and winter heating assistance. If you own your own home and it is in
disrepair, there may be help available to get it fixed up and more
accessable for you.
It'l be awhile before Medicare kicks in, look for ways to minimize your
perscription costs. Maybe ask the Phamascist? I dunno much about drugs cuz I
stay away from chemicals whenever i can.
