Do you not know what an atheist is? I refer you to comments made earlier by
my learned friend Not Today and would recommend that you consult the Oxford
English Dictionary.
As for us having a different moral code, I suspect us rationalists don't
differ much from most mainstream religionists in our basic views about how
people should treat each other and about the way in which we are expected to
behave in order to keep society functioning in a more or less civilised
fashion; the big difference, of course, is that we adhere to our code of
behaviour because we believe it is sensible and necessary, not because some
hypothetical and as yet unproven mystical entity (or rather, its
self-appointed spokesperson) has decreed it so. Oh, and we don't waste all
that time chanting, wailing and mumbling at the behest of men in strange
costumes.
