I have shared many stages with many bands and singing groups over the
years and not in cheap redneck bars where assholes sing for drinks. As
a member of the Sunset Express we earned $ a night each for the
six of us playing one of the hottest country clubs in the Phoenix area
in between the ticketed performers. I have sold lyrics to true artist
like Ronnie Milsap, C. W. McCall, Ray Stevens, Ray Charles, Faron
Young, The Beach Boys, and a wide list of other professional artist.

Your experience seems limited to the redneck bars where they allow you
to sing for a few drinks as per your own stories. Have you sold a
dozen copies of your 1 lousy album yet? Maybe you can sell them for
$.50 each as coasters to that redneck bar you sing in for free drinks
when the owner is feeling generous and or wants some charity
deductions for his taxes.
