Why should 12 million be given amnesty when there is a waiting list
over twice that big for people who want to follow the rule of law and
enter this country legally? I don't think it's fair to reward the
criminals and make honest people wait indefinitely. Back when we
granted amnesty to the 8+ million illegal aliens in the 80's it was
made clear that would be the one and only amnesty opportunity and that
the borders would be secured at that time. Now that was 8 million
built up over many decades. Since then there has been a surge and they
no longer want only the low paying jobs citizens don't want. It is now
a major problem job wise and crime wise everywhere in this country.

In MY opinion it's time to enforce the immigration laws and make
deportation fast and painful, to send a message this will no longer be
tolerated.
