Any recipient of SS or SSDI may change their payment from the
birth-date schedule to the 3rd. if they are receiving any type of aid
from their state or housing assistance from HUD's section 8 program.
Several states place a payment date order in as soon as someone on SS
or SSDI qualifies for any form of state aid such as food stamps,
Medicaid, Medicare part B assistance, medical for a recipients child
etc. Also if a recipient or anyone on his account is receiving child
support through any state agency that agency can order a change to the
3rd. of the month.
