Well I don't know, my route to seat belt exemption would be to get an older
land rover, as it is back seat passengers and the middle seat passenger are
exempt because seat belts were never fitted.
On the other hand I am sure I would be so competent to have written that
were it not for compulsory seat belt legislation being as although I did,
seatbelts notwithstanding, hit my head not on the windscreen but the side
window during an accident some years ago, without a seat belt I think it
might have been far far worse.
