OK, I can actually believe that a few naive people might make such
images available on P2P. But that is of course trivially easy to
trace, and if the guy you mention can do it so easily, so can you -
but also get the IP address of the distributor and get him arrested
PDQ.

Are you *sure* you are not talking about nudist images that are quite
legal in a large number of countries?

So he basically told you everything he believed you wanted to know. I
expect he hoped you would be grateful for the cooperation and put in a

No, I expect it is information that only the professionals are
permitted to know, and that padophiles somehow find out about by
instinct.

No need to be specific, but how can anyone make available illegal
images *to the general public* without being able to be traced by law
enforcement officials armed with suitable warrants?
