* I am confused. I though you were approved for SSDI, not SSI. Do you
* mean SSI in addition to SSDI? The only thing that could knock you
out
* of that is an SSDI income level or asset level, which I don't think
* you can appeal. You income and assets are what they are.

Her SSDI is still undergoing the appeal process. She was approved on
the new application for SSI only but is not financially qualified
while living with her abuser because he earns too much for SSI.

Update: Abuser moved out today after yet another argument. I advised
Gina to get a protective order so she has a paper verification to
present to the SSA and other aid sources to prove he is gone and his
income with him. He has sole control of the bank account.

She will still no doubt have to move in the near future as it's
doubtful abuser would or could prevent foreclosure on her home, and he
may try to force her to move the mobile home off of his property.

Daily prayers are in order for Gina that she receives the help she
needs and that her SSDI appeal goes swiftly and in her favor. She has
no transportation and live sort of out in the boonies so also needs
others in her area to open their hearts and give her rides to
appointments and places she needs to get to.
