Be patient. You will receive arrears for Oct. 2005- current in a lump
sum (umpteen grand or more) but since you had a lawyer, you lose several
thousand to him. This takes months; in my case, I was called by phone and
personally notified by my local office as I was a bit of a celebrity. This
was 6/17; the award letter was dated 10/30. Arrears were deposited directly
10/12 (before the letter!) first regular payment 11/23....
Tried to work again, made 14 months and couldn't continue. Notified them
5/25, they just made my first new payment yesterday. It takes time, but you
are headed downhill!
